According to the Summary of National Cancer Registry 2012-2016, breast cancer is the commonest cancer amongst females and the trend of incidence in 2012-2016 is similar to 2007-2011. 1 in 19 Malaysian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. This means that every day, 23 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in Malaysia.

With the aim of raising breast cancer awareness and to encourage more women 40 years and above to come forward for regular screening, Beacon Hospital is now offering a Mammogram Screening Campaign, under its CSR programme, at a subsidised rate of RM39.

- This CSR programme is open for women aged 40 and above.
- This CSR programme is open for first 1,000 customers only.
- This CSR programme includes a mammogram and reporting fee only.
- This CSR programme excludes registration fee, breasts ultrasound, follow-up consultation and other additional tests/medications/CD/procedures.
- The report will be ready within 10 working days from the screening date; An original price will be imposed for the request of a same-day report.
- This CSR programme is valid for self-paying customers only.
